HAERIN KIM
STAFF COLLABORATIVE PIANIST

A native of Korea, pianist Haerin Kim enjoys a vibrant and multifaceted career as a chamber musician and vocal coach. She earned her Doctor of Musical Arts in Collaborative Piano from the Manhattan School of Music, where she also completed her Master of Music degree. She previously received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance from Kyung Hee University.

Dr. Kim was awarded the Dual Fellowship for Instrumental and Vocal Collaboration at the Aspen Music Festival for the 2023–2024 season. She has performed in masterclasses with distinguished artists including Russell Sherman, Lambert Orkis, Shai Wosner, Warren Jones, and Helmut Deutsch.

Committed to musical excellence and collaboration, she actively supports fellow musicians in both performance and educational settings. Dr. Kim is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Collaborative Piano at The Juilliard School, continuing to refine her artistry under the mentorship of Dr. Lydia Brown.
